Not a hex code — a name you can understand

Instead of "#99C24D", the app tells you what a person would call this color — and decodes the name into a base hue plus lightness. Try it: tap a swatch.

Built for real everyday tasks

Region analysis, not a single pixel

Instead of one random pixel, Daltify analyzes a whole region of similar color around the marker. You see its outline in the frame and get an honest dominant color.

Compare two colors

Do these socks match? Place two markers and get a clear verdict: "same", "slightly different", or "different colors" — with both names side by side.

Freeze frame & gallery photos

Freeze the frame and explore several regions at your own pace — or open a screenshot or a photo of your clothes. Same tools everywhere.

Lighting awareness

A warm bulb or cold LED shifts every color. Daltify estimates the lighting, corrects the result, and warns you when accuracy is lower.

Voice output & TalkBack

The color name and its explanation are read aloud — you don't have to look at the screen at all. Full TalkBack and large-font support.

History & palettes

Every identified color is saved with its sample, name, and code. Group colors into palettes, mark favorites, share them.
